how to collect engaging samples* for microscopic observation
what types of microscopes to use (e.g. hand-held 60x microscopes vs 20x/40x stereo microscopes vs 400x/1000x digital microscopes)
the benefits of using drawing as a tool of observation alongside the microscope
other teaching tools (e.g. books, videos, websites) and activities to engage students in learning about the microscopic world
*Workshops can focus our observations and discussions on soil or water habitats if needed.
